Neuronal network derived from ES cells
A network of neurons in culture that have
differentiated from embryonic stem cells.
They show typical features of nervous tissue
with axons and dendrites making multiple
connections with each other. Cells derived in this
way could form the basis of future treatments for
brain diseases such as Parkinson's.
